Cleveland POPS' 10th Annual New Year's Eve Gala topped off with breakfast in bed

Cleveland, Ohio—Come to Cleveland Pops' 10th Annual Concert and Dance, then spend New Year's Eve at the spectacular InterContinental Hotel and have breakfast in bed. All this with free shuttle service to and from the hotel and Severance Hall. Cleveland POPS, with conductor Carl Topilow and soloists, will present their New Year's Eve concert for the 10th consecutive year and 8th year at Severance Hall. The event, which has become a not-to-be-missed treat for many Northeast Ohioans, features a two-hour stage show beginning at 9:00 P.M., followed at 11:00 P.M. by social dancing through midnight in the Grand Foyer and Smith Lobby of Severance Hall.

This year's pops concert will blend selections from current Broadway hits from shows like The Producers and Hairspray with the all-time hits of classic rock. Joined by Jeans ‘N Classics stars Jean Meilleur and Denise Pelley, Cleveland POPS will review the best of the Beatles, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Aretha Franklin, Martha and the Vandellas and more. The evening's musical menu promises an exhilarating blend of selections to please all musical tastes. And what is printed on the program is only part of the fun and festivities. As loyal Cleveland POPS fans know, the surprises are usually endless and delightful. The orchestra's ninth Annual New Year's Concert will prove no exception.
