Cleveland POPS Orchestra Kicks Up Its Heels with Time for Three

The Cleveland Pops Orechestra

Cleveland, Ohio, March 1, 2007. . . One of America's brightest and most unusual string ensembles joins the Cleveland POPS Orchestra for an evening of pure entertainment. "Time for Three" unabashedly mixes bluegrass, jazz, classical and Americana in a program that startles, entertains and will leave you wanting for more. A young, dynamic trio of classically trained string musicians, Time for Three transcends traditional performance genres. Graduates of Philadelphia's venerable Curtis Institute of Music, Time for Three's members, though still in their late twenties, have performed with many of the world's preeminent conductors and orchestras.

Selections for the March 23rd Cleveland POPS concert include Broughton's Silverado Overture; Rodgers and Hammerstein's Dances from Oklahoma; a Stephen Foster Overture; Copland's Hoedown from Rodeo; Willson's Overture to The Unsinkable Molly Brown; Shenandoah; John Lennon and Paul McCartney's Blackbird, The Orange Blossom Special and many more.
