Carl Topilow and the Cleveland Pops Orchestra are proud to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with Evelyn Wright!

While we’ve had to keep our distance throughout this pandemic, technology has allowed us to stay in touch with those who matter most to us.  

Maestro Carl Topilow has used this time to catch up and chat with several friends of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra in a new series called “Conversations with Carl.” 

To kick off this series, our Maestro talked with vocalist and longtime friend of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Evelyn Wright. Evelyn shares where her love of music began and stories of her own encounters with racism as she traveled and performed. Following her interview is a special performance of “Let’s Fall in Love” from the Cleveland Pops Jazz Ensemble.
