Cleveland Pops Orchestra mourns the passing of Gerhardt Zimmerman

A message from Carl Topilow, conductor of the Cleveland Pops:  The Cleveland Pops Orchestra mourns the passing of Gerhardt Zimmerman, longtime conductor of the Canton Symphony and frequent guest conductor.  Gerhardt and I were friends and colleagues for many years, and I have always had the greatest respect for his talents and accomplishments.  Many of our musicians had the honor of performing for Maestro Zimmerman in Canton and elsewhere and join me in mourning his death.
